On broken telephones

I had a good day today. Or at least in principle. The good thing was that I got my inbox all sorted out, and even managed to scrape off all the sediments at the bottom. The less good thing was that I got into miscommunications with three different people.

E-mail is not a good way of communicating, because the emotional underpinnings of what you mean can be interpreted in a lot of different ways. I am glad that you can sort things out with telephone (or with a bzillion new, "I did not mean what you just said I meant" -type e-mails). The following clip will demonstrate what I mean.
